I just realized that I never posted a picture of the bracelet that I made for BdazzlingCreations. I was matched with her for the JET (Jewelry On Etsy Team) Secret Santa Swap.
I had a hard time figuring out what to make for her. Making Jewelry specifically for another jewelry artist is a real challenge. Finally I figured out what to make. I used Sterling Silver wire and Cultured freshwater pearls & crocheted an amazing bracelet.
But, She didn't get that bracelet, because my car was robbed & it was stolen. So, I had to make her another, which I think I like better than the first, because the clasp is less obvious and more secure. I also went with two larger sized pearls, and only three stitches wide vs four stitches like the first one. I think this made it less dressy/formal.Anyway, when she got it, she loved it. And so did several of her co-workers! I hope to get another similar one made with a different colors of pearls. For some reason, now this one looks like bridal jewelry, but maybe that is just because it was mentioned in our team thread, that prom & wedding season is fast approaching!
